System Migration
ECS has undertaken a number of production system migrations that have involved upgrading platforms to new releases. This type of migration involves careful planning, testing and implementation to ensure minimal impact to the users of production systems. We always work closely with clients to define the migration strategy and build acceptance testing procedures. By doing so, upgrades are thoroughly tested before migrating to the production system.
Our system migration experience includes:
- Migrating Stellent systems to newer versions of Stellent
- Migrating Stellent systems to Oracle UCM
- Migrating EMC Documentum to new versions including migrating 5.x to 5.3
- Defining migration strategies for EMC Documentum 5.3 to 6.0
